That's the new dog whistle, right? How raycyst!
I take it then that the jury retired for deliberations at 2:30 pm.
My prediction: Jury returns with a verdict at 7:10 pm (4 hours, 40 minutes deliberation).
Second degree murder: “Not guilty.”
Manslaughter: “Not guilty.”
Thank you my dear girl.. It is certainly good be be anywhere after my surgery, it is a real pleasure to be back home on FReeRepublic... Carlo
They could be relying on this one....(Oda Mae)...
Thanks for that!!!
All hung juries readily in a mistrial.
Not all mistrials are a result of hung juries.
The end result is most often the same, a new trial unless the prosecution declines to retry the case.
In rare instances, the defense may try to file a motion of prohibition to bar a new trial. Those are usually rejected, but would likely be successful in this case.
THANK YOU!

Zimmerman trial draws 50 to courthouse
SANFORD About 50 people not including the media are gathered calmly outside the Seminole County criminal courthouse now, awaiting the verdict in the George Zimmerman second-degree murder trial.
The gathering was mostly subdued until someone with a megaphone showed up. Officials told Chimurenga Waller with the International People’s Democratic Uhuru Movement to stop using it, which he did.
“We come in peace. We’re emphasizing peace but we also understand the issues can’t be swept under the rug. We’re here to support the people of Sanford... Even after this case is over our work is just beginning...” said James Evans Muhammad, minister of education for the New Black Panther Party.....
“These people don’t look violent to me,’’ Muhammad said.
Meanwhile, one woman from Georgia says she heard what she thought were jail inmates chanting “Justice for Trayvon” before arriving outside the courthouse.
The county’s jail, the John Polk Correctional Facility, is across the street from the courthouse.
Cawthon said she had been following the case since it exploded in the media last year and she felt morally obligated to be at the courthouse for the verdict.
“It was a different feeling I got even as I was driving up,” said the 40-year-old Cawthon, who has a 17-year-old daughter. “When I drove past the jail all I could hear was ‘Justice for Trayvon’ — like all the inmates screaming. That was exhilarating.”
After the deliberations began, Benjamin Crump, an attorney for Trayvon’s parents, expressed confidence jurors would return a guilty verdict.
“The state prosecutor’s closing statement cut to the heart of the matter. If you reverse the dynamics, nobody would say that it was a hard case. Nobody would say that it was a complicated case,” Crump said. “We’ve always believed that if the jury based their verdict on the evidence, he will be held accountable for killing Trayvon Martin.”
Crump added that he believes “that they’re going to return a verdict that holds him accountable for killing Trayvon Martin. I put my faith in the justice system and that it works for everybody... Does it work for everybody, that’s what the whole world is watching for. Do we all get equal justice?”
Cawthon said traveling to Sanford for the verdict was her way of becoming part of the historic moment.
“I have never had the opportunity to be a part of anything that involved brown people and I’m here now,’’ she said. “I had the opportunity to do this and I felt like I should. I wanted to be here. I wanted know what the feeling was like... I just wanted to see the reaction of real people”
Then they're screwed.
It would be nice if millions of white people started wearing your cap. You should get a copyright and start selling them.
Florida ...bracing for protests and possible riots

Reverend Al???
Thanks for the photo..
Teaching hatred starts at a young age. How sad.
Note the poster that starts out with:
“If You White.”
Love the sign...”I Am Trayvon”? Don’t think so...you’re still breathing.
“Florida ...bracing for protests and possible riots”
Yep. The natives will be disappointed if a guilty verdict is rendered, no doubt. They’re “in the mood”.
7:10 huh? haha...:)
The absolute ignorance is beyond belief.
I’m a cracka, he’s a cracka, she’s a cracka, wouldn’t you like to be a cracka too?
Many people don't understand what "murder" means, as in, "He shot him so he is guilty of murder."
Heck, yesterday a Freeper described the shooting of a dog as, "He murdered a family member."
