I predict a conviction on manslaughter. I hope not guilty on both but not too hopeful.

Why?

The self-defense claim for both 2nd degree murder and manslaughter are exactly the same.

I’m praying the jury will do what’s right for George Zimmerman and his family. This never should have been brought to trial to begin with. That judge and the prosecutors look like fools, but worse, their actions seem to be pure evil!

There are only two ways they get any kind of guilty verdict:

1. Every single one of the jurors fears for their very lives and have no character.
2. The entire jury is bought and paid for.

I doubt either is true. I think the best that the state can hope for is that number one applies to at least one juror and we end up with a hung jury. People talk a lot about number two but it is, in reality, highly unlikely.

Frankly, if I was on that jury and I found him guilty, I’d worry more about the Timothy McVeighs they created than the rioting caused by a not guilty verdict.

Manslaughter — overturned on appeal.
