SANFORD, Fla. (AP) - In an unmistakable setback for George Zimmerman, the jury at the neighborhood watch captain's second-degree murder trial was given the option Thursday of convicting him on the lesser charge of manslaughter in the shooting of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.

That is what they will do and then it will be appealed and moved to the panhandle where it will be overturned and then Zimmerman will own everyone that has been involved in this illegal trial and prosecution.

I don’t understand. If the jury finds GZ not-guilty of 2nd degree then they are in essence saying the shooting was self-defense, yes? Then that covers any and all charges, doesn’t it ? I mean self-defense is the same regardless of what degree of homicide or manslaughter.

There is a 100% chance this jury will find him guilty of manslaughter. I won’t even take a bet. I’d be stealing money.

She can post what she wants...
You're absolutely right, she can post what she wants. Unfortunately what she's posting is BS since it's already been reported that the judge disallowed the lesser charge of 3rd degree to be entered.
She knows that since she's been posting all day........

It could have been worse, I could have had been the FRper who posted the article from the Washington Times about the lawyer invoking Dr.Martin Luther King Jr. in the courtroom.

Would you answer the question in post 11? If it’s self-defense then it’s self-defense no matter the charge, isn’t it?

Who are these guys? Manslaughter carries a lower level of intent, but intent still has to be proven. Beyond a reasonable doubt. And self-defense is also a defense to a manslaughter charge.
The proof of manslaughter is as lacking as 2nd Degree Murder. That's why they tried to pull a fast one on a felony murder instruction.
