“Border Surge” —> BS

Maybe they didn’t think of that when they crafted the new buzzword. I don’t think I am the first one to notice.

Re: “WSJ runs almost DAILY pro-amnesty articles.”

Add the “Commentary Magazine” blog to that DAILY list.

Jonathan Tobin is the chief pro-Amnesty villain at Commentary, with able assistance from Peter Wehner and editor John Podhoretz.

National Review Online plays a game of bait and switch deceit on Amnesty almost every day - except for real Conservative Mark Krikorian, who also writes for the Center for Immigration Studies.

NRO’s Amnesty articles always start with a Conservatively seductive title and topic sentence.

Then, by the last paragraph, they always find a way back to Gang of Eight code words and reasons to support the “good” parts of Amnesty.

The Senate Immigration bill is dead. It’s not going anywhere in the House. The Republicans might get their own bill out, but then again, they might not. The fact that the Senate Republicans can’t admit their defeat is just a sign of their own arrogance. The Senate bill was too big to work. It was never written to be workable. It was written to make fools of the Republicans who helped to write it.

No - no merger!

I mean distinct, stand alone Bills with NO legislative connection AT ALL to the Senate Amnesty.

I don't know if that was the purpose, but if so they were supremely successful! I heard Hoeven of Corker-Hoeven in an interview, and it was clear he didn't even understand the amendment he supposedly wrote.

Plenty of buffoonery there. Lisa Murkowski sold her vote for an Alaska Seafood Visa program.

Obama stayed out of sight and let the GOP do his work.

You are sharp!

That is 100% accurate. NR is PUKENEO Central. Bird cage liner.
