I think he knew it was Skittles because he recognized the gangsta uniform Skittles was wearing and GZ said before Skittles punched him he asked him “Hey yo, yo gots a problaaam?” no doubt while going cerebral palsy with his hands, and GZ said “No I ain’t got a problem” and then Skittles “whup his ass and whoop his ass y’all” only Skittles was introduced to the 2nd amendment. So I would say GZ definitely knew it was him. I also think Skittles was trying to rob GZ because that’s how “tha’ gangstas” usually work, that’s their MO. They usually just punch you out of the blue or they make up a reason to punch you “You gotta problem” so they can take your money and cellphone (or sahfone as they call it) while you are disabled. One of the perps had been arrested and identified (then released and re-arrested), but IIRC, the second perp was never mentioned again.
Who was the other perp? St. Skittles, by any chance?
