“It’s not about money. It’s about priorities. Young families get themselves up to their chins in consumer debt and then calculate that there’s no room for a baby in their financial situation. They have chosen the house, the cars and the toys.”

As a Christian “breeder” I agree with the previous Pope’s criticism of the selfishness of those who choose not to breed. On the other hand, many who aren’t breeding today don’t have a house, cars, toys, or a job.

Let me know when the pope ends up getting screwed over by the no-fault divorce laws, the man hating "family" courts and the rest of the divorce industry. Men chosing not to start a family and have kids aren't any more selfish than someone who choses not to bet his life at the craps table.
