Like the plausibility and acceptability of amnesty as a possible thing the republicans would consider is now on the table. Now not a question of if, but when. Incrementalism and shift us from not debating amnesty itself, but at what point, amnesty?

I disagree. The best thing Republicans can do right now is to vote to remove Boehner as Speaker and put Michele Bachmann in.
Counter with a tax cut bill or a real budget, whatever.
When will we get past the nonsense that these people are stupid? They are just doing what they intend and get a pass like old Joe Biden. They are certainly not stupid if they can control every conservative elected to the House and fool enough conservative voters into thinking they are really on their side, but tend to mess up occasionally.
We are the stupid ones for not recognizing we have enemies within.
