After the six women Jury convicts Zimmerman, I will assume this episode and many others will speed the Appeal Process right along.
I just hope GZ will survive in Prison until then.

Overruled! The court is entitled to inquire of Mr. Zimmermans determination as to whether or not he wants to testify, Nelson said. Another left-wing entitlement.

Of course, the reason for this is that every other convicted defendant claims he wanted to testify but no one let him.
The correct procedure is for counsel to inform the judge who then asks the defendant if this is his free and voluntary act.
She is doing her best to protect the jury from the truth, but even with her fat thumb on the scale, Z should walk.
