"The Department of Fish and Wildlife plants fewer trout than ever, despite a legislative mandate to put one of every $3 into trout plants. This year, the cost of a license was jacked up to $45.03 and $59.97 with a two-rod stamp."...This is all by design...The liberal rat bastards in Sacramento don't want you fishing! It's to cruel to the fish! These stupid sons of b#$%hes!!!

And don’t step on the grass.

Remember, this is YOUR park.

You could put $5 in the box on the honor system and camp on the Gardiner River in Montana.

Stunning, absolutely stunning.

The good news is, illegals stay for free.

California State Parks is pricing itself out of reach of many, starting with young families, city kids and young adults.

Usually they start with women and minorities, I wonder what happened.

$35 bucks is not that much less than the Motel 6, and with the Motel 6, you get a romm with a bed, not just the ground. I wonder what the homeless camps out near Davis charge?

I recently went to Sequoia National Park - it was $20 just to get in.

Why should we pay at all? The park land across the street from me was donated to the state with the caveat that people can not be charged admission. Except, they charge for “parking”. There is nowhere to legally park within practical walking distance of park amenities.

We used to buy an Empire Passport every year, but now it is too expensive and you get fewer and fewer services for your money. My yard is a park, a part of the same original parcel donated the state. I don’t need their park.

In San Diego visiting. Crossed to Coronado and drove south to Imperial beach state park. Only wanted to hang out an hour or so. The young lady said it still cost 10 bucks to park. I paid 10 bucks to get sunburned in an hour. The lot was practically empty, so there you go.

BTW, the place is awesome, as far as Pacific beaches. Watch the warships from the beach, as they depart San Diego Harbor to do what ever it is they do every day.
