The witness was asked about storage of forensic samples.
Apparently, the samples taken after TM was shot were put into plastic bags. The materials were wet and the plastic bags would not allow the samples to dry out. Instead, any bacteria and molds etc. on the wet samples will destroy any organic materials, DNA etc.
He stated that any samples should be put into paper bags so they can dry out and not rot and decay.
