I suspect this will end with a hung jury. Then the judge will likely not retry as it would be futile. He is obviously innocent of 2nd degree and manslaughter. But the jury will not risk a verdict. I also suspect that the prosecution has a ringer on the jury and Zimmerman will not be acquitted. Hung jury.

As I recall, normally the decision to retry or not is made by the prosecutors, or those to whom they report. So it’s ultimately up to Sharpton.
