Plus immaculate landscaping everywhere, maintained by you know who.

instead of just giving away “free money” for the last sixty years...
for food stamps, welfare, unemployment, rent subsidies, WIC, and other programs...
that some amount of “work” had been required for the benefit.
I have several recent ancestors who worked for the WPA and the CCC back in the 1920s.
They said it wasn’t so bad.
At least (although inefficient) those $$$ produced some tangible result.
Since the 1960s, trillions of dollars (that’s trillion, with a “T”)
have been doled out to recipients for just “doing nothing”.
