.....foreign policy pros wanted Mubarak to go the elections route which would have resulted in a smooth transition of power and would have made the liberal protesters more competitive in a national election, but Obama’s inner circle sidelined the pros and demanded that Mubarak immediately step down.

This is what happened. Our faux -POTUS and his gang willfully confuse "Democracy," with "Mob Rule." When Mobs try to Rule, Armies take over. Perhaps they can stop the wanton massacre of Christians, which is exactly what happened in every 'Arab Spring' dungheap. It is also what happened when then Senator Obama illegally intervened in the Kenyan political process of 2006.

Note to GOP: run another stooge and this will continue.
