You are carrying water for McAuliffe’s “team” of clintoon thugs. This is how it is done— the leak, the response from “good govt.” conservatives who want to “clean house” (even if the story is false, such is their need for correction). End goal is achieved if the “target” resigns. Obama did this, and mcauliffe needs to do it— he is a major crook.

In any case it was/is ludicrous to (unless of course one is a social liberal— maybe) say that what spitzer and weiner didn’t compare. Acceptance of bizarre behaviour, in the face of provable incompetence in the first place doesn’t give a postive comparative vs. a piddling amount of personal item charges from a fired executive queer chef. The contracting claim remains to be seen.
It’s how politics is played by losers, and it is how we got obama, whom presumably most here do not like at all.

I don’t accept Spitzer and Weiner’s behavior, but Spitzer’s crime was minor and Weiner didn’t commit one. Cronyism and contract fraud are the root of the problem with government. Our area has been hammered with taxes, fees, and bad contracts orchestrated by McDonnell. I really don’t care if he has an “R” next to his name. I will call out McAuliffe on it as well and still plan to cast my vote for Cuccinelli, but I’m not going to accept cronyism and conflicts of interest from anyone. I’d much rather McDonnell be banging a hooker than organizing bad “public/private” deals for his friends.
