Pictures from "All About Birds" website
I’ll grant that, but once they settle on an area, they will produce so many droppings that it becomes a health issue. Pretty pictures of flying geese don’t usually include the crap filled ground beneath them. And they tend to take over places within cities that people use, like golf courses and parks.
What are you talking about — they are beautiful birds:
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
True, but while they are beautiful to look at, they are a huge annoyance, even scary, and downright dangerous at times (ask any pilot).
They are indeed rats with wings,
as deer are rats with antlers,
as squirrels are rats with beautiful tails.
Ever try having a nice day in the park with a flock of those around? Or try going for a walk near a source of water without looking down.
Beautiful - until they crap all over your lawn, your sidewalk, the park, the parking lot, your deck..... Having found the perfect socialist paradise (lots of food, no need to “work” by migrating, and no threats), they simply multiply until they reach the point at which they become a health hazard.
