I don’t think I’d be able to see well enough to hit very much @ 500 yds with my tired old eyes. I’d probably need one of those Barrett BORS to hit anything.

Where on the target I hit is questionable, but I hit it.

Actually you would be surprised.
I can hit them with a AR15 and a 4X scope and you know you are a better shot than me.

Depends on the size of the gongs! Actually, I've only shot at 500 once, and it was an experience. I was on the paper, but the paper's pretty big to give the correct sight picture with military sights. It was my friend's match M-14. Very nice shooting gun.

I'm a little more in tune with 200 yards, but I think I need to increase that.
