Yes, I saw that story too. Did an emergency diversion, they sent a 747 to pick up the passengers. Somewhere in Asia IIRC.

I wonder who made the engines?

They're either:

  1. General Electric GE90
  2. Pratt & Whitney PW4000
  3. Rolls Royce Trent 800
