Machogirl, hey! Where did you hear that (cortisol) about the jackboots? waaa. I don’t drink either... or fly... but... when I used to fly more, always had an exit strategy. I’ve read enough accounts from plane crash survivors to know what they did to get out. And, it did not include trying to grab their luggage...!
I read it in the past year. I’ll try to find it.
It wasn’t the nuclear-medicine stress tests setting off sensors. It was an article about sensing the ‘stress hormones’. Ugh, still can’t find it.
Sooo...as I was traveling to the airport, listening to someone who thought discussing airplane crashes was appropriate since I’m a pilot, while I’m thinking of my exit row seating and smacking myself in the head for not wearing cross trainers, but thankful for remembering to wear cotton...well, thank you, universe- my also pilot husband just had me print out his ticket for his trip on a 777. I couldn’t understand why my daughter has to take anti-anxiety medication before flying. I’m a little dense. Regardless, they’ll determine it’s pilot error. I do have new respect for my husband as he told me about refusing a last minute run way change into Atlanta.
