George Zimmermans attorney just called for the case to be thrown out.
Judge will not dismiss.
Not surprising. I don’t even think there was more than a second after defense stopped talking. She had this ready to go.
Not surprising.
Mine was totally apples and oranges to this one. A kid was accused of stabbing a basset hound and there was no evidence.
Not a shock, she doesn’t want the verdict on her hands..she knows what will happen to her and her family if she did the right thing..she wants it on the jury’s hands not hers
The judge couldn’t care less, she was never going to aquit, she doesn’t have the backbone.
The State never proved it’s case and she and the world knows it......
This is a gutless court whpo couldn’t see the truth if it mattered....
let’s hope the jury has guts.
First witness for defense, George’s mom.
I hope so, the prosecution banked that they’d have ovaries.
I miss Waffle House.
They are nullifying out Sabryna’s testimony. Funny trayvon’s dad also said the screams weren’t trayvon when he heard the tape.
Now of course the diff is this one SHOULD be...
But the similarity is...this one WON'T be either...
You got me jonesing for some scattered, splattered, smothered, covered and whatever!
“WHAT DO I GET FOR PREDICTING THIS ThIS MORNING????”
Actually, I’ll up you one and predict that, given the inevitable riots once acquitted, that Zimmerman then has the pleasure of being tried a second time - for violating the “civil rights” of Trevon. This would be a federal trial, which the federal courts have ruled IS NOT double jeopardy...unreal, but true.
I don't think stupidity is at work here. The prosecutor was asked to turn water into wine. Without divine intervention, that's impossible.
Zimmerman’s mom just said it was Zimmerman’s voice on the tape screaming, and she knows even if she has nevber heard him screaming for his life before. She could recognize the anguish in his voice, and the fear.
Next witness up, deputy sheriff jorge mazo. not sure but probably character witness, officer that may help explain what george went through.
He’s George’s uncle.
Question: If the judge did dismiss the case, would that have left the door open for Zimmerman to be retried on a different charge? Which would be better for Zimmerman - a dismissal, or a “not guilty” verdict?
This judge’s courage and ethics are exceeded only by her breathtaking beauty.....
Far from me to say with any authority. I would guess that a not guilty verdict would preclude other “lesser” charges from being filed.
If she dismisses with prejudice it will not be retried.
The uncle ID’s the voice when not knowing it was going to come up on the television report, and he jumped up to say, “That’s George!” He claimed to recognize it even without knowing it was going to be broadcast and he did not know they were discussing it.
