At this point I think you are right, but the other side is lobbying aggressively, with lots of tempting $$$ to offer.
Contacting your congresscritter every day you can through the end of next week is truly important.
Tokyo Rove is spreading his nonsense in the ranks, we need to overwhelm them so they won't listen to him.
