Well, at least the stinky cheese is still safe.............
France has been losing the trade war with China. Now they have started raising tariffs and fighting back.
Wish America had the guts to do the same.

Sorry, but that is just wrong.
There's a real knee-slapper.
If France wants to under price their wines, I’ll give them my address. I’ll take a few cases of cheaply priced Premier Grand Cru Bordeaux wines. It’s be in for a few cases of Sauternes also. I’ve paid enough retail prices. It would be nice to get it at a discount.
I’ll be waiting by my phone.... I really hope they call.
Sure they do - when your opponent doesn't fight back. All of Asia has been successfully fighting a trade war against the US for decades.
Yeah, but will you then get the real thing, or will water be added to it?
Hey I love Brie and Camembert cheese, which do not stink. The only thing is you have to be careful that is not overripe. I ate a Camembert sandwich once many, many years ago and got sick
Excellent point
Interesting. One normally doesn’t associate China and wine.
You must have forgot to take the rind off........I did that once............
If both the US and EU placed the kind of tariffs and rules on China that China places on them, the Chinese economy would implode.
As a side note, France keeps it’s finest wine batches in France, it exports the secondary and lesser quality products. You may as well order Californian wines unless you are on French soil.
I sure wouldn’t, plus I wouldn’t buy wine from China in the first place
There is no need to take the rind off as it is edible, compared to rinds made of wax like in a Gouda cheese. I do remember that the cheese was very soft. Since that time I make sure never to buy Camembert or Brie cheese that is to soft
In retaliation for ridiculous EU tariffs on solar panels (sponsored mainly by France over the objections of Germany) China Declares War On Wine.Incompetent French leftist trash regime ping.
BYW - In the '70s the Frenchies were caught blending Algerian wine with their export products. Really the impetus for the Cali wines to expand on the east coast.
I ate the wax.............
