A reasonable concern. There is a difference: The whole world is watching this sausage being made. They may get away with getting the jury to dance the tune, but there will be trouble in the future if it appears the persecution cheated to get the win. Ask Barry Bonds sometime how that goes.

All that's needed is a little jury intimidation. If Sharpton and Jackson and the NAACP can scare the entire country...they can certainly get the message to a 6 woman sequestered jury.

seems to me this whole trial means self defense laws need to be made STRONGER and more blocking of crump style lawyers.

IOW raise the standard in civil trials to equal that in crimanal trials as well as expand tort immunity.

Also no more Corey cases. Also allow introduction of Alsharpton style opportunists as grounds for automatic dismissal.

Drug use should ALWAYS be admissible.
