Why do i get the image of Ratatouille in my mind here.
What for?
That sounds like the marxist state we are headed toward, guilty until you prove you are innocent.
“This witness is Bao, not Rao”
I don’t care. :o)
Mantei: 2 minutes of unaccounted for time
LOL. Sorry, just a little teasin’
Ya gotta give a guy credit for using the word “pluperfect.” It went downhill from here (but it was fun).
>> Mantei: shooting someone is evidence of ill will, spite and hatred
If I understood correctly, he’s quoting case law (and then adding his own high school drama class tone of voice ‘tude to it)
Emotion is much easier to spin and the MSM is not bound by truth. They can twist this story in any direction.
-——> The state is acting like its the Defenses duty to prove its case!
He started with just that. Said because they are saying it’s self defense they need to prove it.
He’s noticeably light on backing up his “opinions” on case law.
If the head is split you must acquit.
Yep.
The state has this case all wrong.
Prove theirs.
Well... nothing else he is saying is the truth, so... ?
Barry has spoken. That’s all the prosecution needs.
I’m starting think the judge was hard on the defense all this time because she knew full well she was going to dismiss the case at this point... Am I on to something, or do I just sound drunk?
Right, you’ll have to scroll up see the whole conversation to understand why I asked.....
Can you imagine how many more thefts and murders there would be (by the Amish)... if everyone became afraid to BE a neighborhood watchperson now...due to this travesty of justice?
Imagine the evil that would be spawned as a result. More crime and mayhem. And notice how the left always seems to side with the criminals in this country...even going so far as to want to give convicted felons a right to vote (for them)?
Sounds like a quite deliberate goal, by the left, to me. I hope to God it doesn’t work.
Judges head up, very interested in prosecutions argument. Very perky, alert, unlike when she was doing paperwork, head down with the defense.
Stunning, isn’t it?
Where do they get these guys and this judge?
He hasn’t quoted any case law. He’s operating purely on emotion.
