Three police officers have been pulled from street duty for their safety in Southern California after a video of them shooting a dog dead as they arrested its owner hit the internet.
A cellphone video that had more than 3.7 million views on YouTube by Thursday morning shows the dog, named Max, being shot after scrambling out of a car's back seat through a window and lunging at officers who had handcuffed its master. The dog's owner Leon Rosby had been filming a police raid in Hawthrone California, and was arrested for alleged obstruction of justice.

Suspicious? Of what? You think it was a setup and he WANTED his dog shot?
He wasn’t “eager” to be handcuffed. He knew it was going to happen beforehand and assumed the position instead of being thrown to the ground first. Can’t say I blame him one bit.
They should be pulled into a jail cell.

Yes and the police should not have falsely arrested someone for filming on public streets. So the man is out his dog and the criminals who broke the law are off the streets for now.

I don’t know what he has been charged with, but he refused to turn down the volume of his car stereo after multiple orders to do so—at the very least refusal to follow a lawful order.
Whatever the reason, the perp deliberately provoked the whole situation, and it is he who is ultimately responsible for getting his dog shot.
A cop on routine patrol obviously has no excuse. These cops were responding to an armed robbery call and were looking for the perp(s) in question. Shooting the dog is a no-brainer when you have a 130-lb Rottweiler coming at you. If the dog had been a toy poodle, the cop would have at fault for merely kicking kim. But a 130-lb Rottweiler?
Note also that they have no clue if this guy is running interference or acting as a lookout for the perp. Bottom line is that it's not as clear cut as all that, once you read the whole article.
They probably did a “hail Satan” if I had to guess.

Did you hear a loud blaring radio on the video? I don’t recall hearing that, but you could clearly hear others who were directly across the street talking.

Anyone who says that dumbass was arrested for video taping cops is either lying, or spewing out of ignorance based on the misleading title of the article.
