U.S. Military Holds LGBT Pride Event In Kandahar, Afghanistan (Video)

U.S. troops deployed to Kandahar Airfield in Afghanistan this week held the first Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual, Transgender Pride event to be observed in a deployed environment.

The Pentagon also held a LGBT Pride Month ceremony on Tuesday, one day before the U.S. Supreme Court struck down the Defense of Marriage Act, which defined marriage as between a heterosexual couple.

Oh, I unfriended her but it made me furious that she thinks she can tell me what to put on FB. Liberals have no concept of freedom. Obama has divided a lot of families, which I’m sure makes him very happy. I hate him like I have never hated anyone.

My sister and I had agreed previously to not discuss politics and we don’t, so I was even more upset that she thought she could tell me what I could put on FB, especially since she hardly ever goes on there. I think her daughter, who is a public school teacher, probably got to her. But whatever. I will not be silenced.

I hate that about your sister. I know another family that is having a hard time keeping it peaceful. Hopefully time will heal some of these wounds. But like u said below, “do not be silenced”. We must continue to speak out!
