There is no mechanism for healing...

I actually think there is one. It's called a paycheck. Not a welfare check, but a paycheck.

Imagine if inner-city schools went back to teaching the trades (plumbing, carpentry, tool and die making, etc.) Those practical skills are no longer taught.

Now also imagine all the factories that moved overseas returning to the American cities. Young blacks would find good work, at good pay. And that would bring them a sense of pride, and give them goals to reach. Money is the great equalizer.

Of course, none of this will ever happen. Government regulations would strangle the new industries. And the union bosses would destroy what's left.

But, that would take the available jobs away from the illegals . . .
