Egypt: U.S. State Department Orders Some Embassy Personnel To Leave Country
July 3, 2013 | 2133 GMT
The U.S. State Department has ordered non-essential U.S. diplomats and the families of all personnel at the U.S. Embassy to leave Egypt in anticipation of violence following the military’s removal of Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi in a coup July 3, an unnamed U.S. official said, AP reported. Larger regional issues have taken priority over Egypt’s political morass in the eyes of the United States and its Western allies, who have grown weary of intervening in the Middle East.
Here’s the latest I heard.
- Clashes continue between the army and MB
- Southern Egypt vendetta country) erupted with clashes between the MB and the rebels.
IMO, the MB is betting on the wrong horse, again! Violence! They are cutting their own throat and they’ll be exterminated.
