Yes he does intend to do this.
I will live in the woods with no power and food until I starve to death before I live where he or anyone like him wants me to live.
“I will live in the woods with no power and food until I starve to death before I live where he or anyone like him wants me to live.”
Amen.
I have no doubt he hates the suburbs and intends to do this. But as with all things economic, Obama and his minions are clueless.
If the suburbs weren't more economically efficient (cheaper) than cities, they wouldn't exist at all. Like Mr. Obama, I work in Washington DC. Unlike Mr. Obama, I don't need to actually be there, because I telecommute. I do get to walk on the beach at lunchtime every day. The last time I went in to the office was... ummmm ... 2011 (I was supposed to go to a meeting in 2012, but Hurricane Sandy intervened). I also don't do a lot of driving, and don't spend a lot of my income on gasoline. My 2008 model year car has about 16,000 miles on it.
Technology -- green, red or purple -- won't revive your cities. Suburbs are more efficient. Sorry, Mr. Obama.
