Yes. I have a Vista machine.

It works. Upgrading it to Win7 would cost $$.

Not worth it.

By the time service pack 3 came out for Vista it was pretty solid. In fact many people referred to Win 7 as Vista service pack 4.

I use Vista on my Virtual PC server. It is better optimized for very large files than Windows 7, and virtual PCs are nothing more than very large files acting like a full up PC. I tried Win 7, but the virtual systems crashed more often than Vista, so I pulled off Win 7 and put Vista back. Win 7 does have a better gui though.

i am Vista came on a refurbished laptop I got runs well on 3GB of ram
