Plus the increase for medicaid and welfare where did that money come from. You act as though we as an older generation owe you for what was promised to us from the feds for fueling their add on programs. Sorry you feel that way but We paid our way!

Again, you did not pay your way. You paid the previous generation's way. Also, I don't believe I ever said that we should stiff current retirees. You'll get yours. Just realize that your old-age welfare is on the backs of your offspring who will not partake of the benefit you'll receive. You seem to think I'm blaming you when I'm not. I just wish everyone understood how the system really works. Repeating liberal talking points like, "I paid in, so I'm owed," just confuses the issue and stifles chances for reforming the system.
