Michelle Obama: Being First Lady is like living in a really nice prison BY CHARLIE SPIERING | JULY 2, 2013 AT 8:50 AM
First Lady Michelle Obama on Tuesday described living in the White House as like being in a really nice prison.
Obamas comment came during her discussion with former First Lady Laura Bush at the African First Ladies Summit in Tanzania during an interview moderated by journalist Cokie Roberts.
Roberts noted that Martha Washington, the first First Lady, also described living in the role as akin to being a state prisoner.
Obama said she loved her job and found it liberating in some respects, but confining in others.
There are some prison elements to it, she joked. But its a really nice prison.
Former first lady Laura Bush reminded the crowd that First Ladies had a chef.
You cant complain, Michelle Obama admitted. But there is definitely elements that are confining.

She has made similar comments before. She once said she dreamed of walking out of the White House, and she would just keep going and not come back.
I would like to see her dream come true. I look forward to Jan. 20, 2017 so she can leave for the last time.
Michelle Obama: nanny, fashion plate, ginormous Wookie caboose.
Now—martyr.
The lunches,OTOH,were a tiny bit less lavish.

Noooooobody knows the troubles I’ve seen.

Any audio or video of this?
Folks... I know Michelle’s problem...
SHE IS TIRED OF WEARING WIGS..AND WANTS A BREAK..HER SCALP HURTS...
Maybe she is unable to play with some of the security people any more?.
Please cuff me Danno and take me to that prison.
What a petulant, pitiful thing America's First Lady is.
With hundred million dollar vacations every other couple of weeks.
Perhaps she should try something really hard. Like a job. If she could find one with no job skills.
Spoiled rotten.
