My mom equipped me with a pair of those lefty scissors in elementary school. The problem was, using scissors was not one of my numerous left handed talents. Those crummy lefty scissors sure were uncomfortable to use with my right hand! (I was apparently to dumb at that age to point out they were wrong-handed)
I grew up using scissors right handed. When my kids were at the age where they were always using scissors, I got myself some left handed ones thinking that the kids wouldn’t walk off with them. But I couldn’t figure out how to use them with my left hand so, like you, I used them right handed. (everything else left)
