Unfortunately, that is not true. If you lie to a federal officer during an interview, even when you are not under oath, you can go to jail. Just ask Martha Stewart and Scooter Libby.
That’s different. They didn’t go to jail for lying.

Thats different. They didnt go to jail for lying. I don't know about Scooter, but Martha did go to jail for lying, formally "obstructing justice."
