Good night. One last suggestion.
Ping HUMBLEGUNNER and give him the same info you gave me.
He is usually the first to notice when an article is posted from a blog, and he checks to see if the poster is just ‘pimping his blog’.
He’s kinda like our GERMAN SHEPERD in the fenced yard. If he don’t know you and you are trying to climb over the fence, he’s gonna bark.
We all have jobs here. I’m the town idiot and Spelling Nazi.
: )
Still trying to get to bed, but must thank you for your kind advice.
Now I must pray as I go to sleep for the firefighters who have lost their lives in Arizona, and their families. It is so sad.
God bless all of you who have volunteered to stand between us, to protect us, from every kind of danger. You all know who you are, and we thank you every night for your service to us all.
Yeah, I already went a few rounds with him back a couple weeks ago over my ClashDaily.com columns. Fact is, he can’t tell for certain if someone is “pimping a blog” because that’s what he accused me of doing, and I wasn’t. But based on what I was doing, I’m sure it fell right into the category of the exact behavior that someone pimping a blog would do. But I was completely frank about my motives for trying to drive readers there—I really need to see lots of “likes” and “shares” etc. on the site page itself to know and feel that what I’m writing is being read, appreciated, stacks up well against the traffic the other writers are getting, etc. I’ve since been posting the whole column, instead of an excerpt. I’ve yet to understand why people get belligerent over what category a post is put into, though.
