Absolutely spot on. Bring back American jobs now. The ability to manufacture is the ability to create wealth. America used to be the greatest creditor nation in the world, and we are now the greatest debtor nation. All of our money is now in Chinese banks. My own belief on why it was all exported seems simple. Most Americans used to get their pensions and health benefits through their employers. Corporations saw the boomer generation, 70 million strong, coming at them like an unstoppable freight train, and they wanted out before it was too late. After making zillions of dollars on us, starting with diapers, baby food and hula hoops in the late ‘40s and early ‘50s, they finally decided they needed the North American Free Trade Agreement, and the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade, a.k.a. Nafta and Gatt, in 1994. Word in DC back then was that if Clinton, who had just blown the dems congressional majority after 40 years, went along with Nafta and Gatt, then Corporate America would not not oppose his re-election efforts in ‘96. With the departure of corporations from the US, there's only one entity large enough to fill the pension and health care void, the US government, hence Obamacare. These two treaties hollowed out America's manufacturing base, and sent it all to China. There's some geopolitical nonsense involved here, in that America's elitist and liberal politicians, like the Bush family, believed in bringing Red China in from the isolation of communism, and turn them in our direction by promising them exactly what they have now, i.e., a stranglehold on our economy. Any attempt by Americans to reclaim our manufacturing base can be vetoed by China by simply demanding that we repay our trade deficit, which we cannot do. The Bush family has put us in a terrible position, with virtually no way out, unless we start voting for patriots. God Bless Sarah Palin.

Well I’ll be doggone.
Spot on. Best post I’ve read in a long, long time. Well done.
See the thing missing from all of that is, that China is becoming stronger than America.
It hasn’t happened yet, but the momentum is now in China’s corner.
China has more people, more manufacturing, and increasingly more money.
All that exporting of manufacturing to China, is in Chinese control now. “We” have 49%. In other words, really we have nothing.
All of the staffing of manufacturing plants in China, is all Chinese employees.
We have gone far to far, in the other direction. Now we are poised to be dominated by the Chicoms.
Wake up people.

Well said.
Absolutely spot on. Bring back American jobs now. The ability to manufacture is the ability to create wealth.MAKE IS HERE, MAKE IT NOW. If Palin says this and ends being world policeman bailing out the world with blood and treasure, then OK for a new party. Otherwise I'll see if the Bunga Bunga Party is listed.
