Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the 2008 Republican nominee for vice president responded to a Fox News Channel viewers Twitter question Saturday about the possibility of her and conservative talker Mark Levin abandoning the Republican Party and creating something called the Freedom Party.

Sadly, I have no more use for the Republican party. I'd rather vote 3rd party and secure the immediate collapse of the country than vote for lying traitors like Paul Ryan.
Regardless of where Palin goes I'm done.
I constantly get junk mail from RNC asking for donations, which I toss. If a large number return their postage paid envelopes with a message- “Waiting for the Freedom Party”, that would be a great wake-up call.
Don’t get me wrong.
I’m in complete support. Just that there is another equally important fight, which nobody talks about.
China is increasingly our manufacturer.
That is not a good long-term policy. In any number of ways.
Bring back US jobs. That is what I am saying.
Well said! I heartily concur!!
AMEN! Well put.
For every Rand Paul (who supports amnesty) making noise about the NSA, there are 5 Juan McAmnestys and Lindsey Gaymans who support the surveillance state.
I think it’s more like 10 to 1. About 50 patriots on The Hill out of 535 Senators and Reps.
Hear, hear!
They’re already doing the crappy timeslot bit to her. Broke off today’s interview early, too.
Go, Sarah!
I'd back a Freedom Party led by Palin and other true conservatives.

Why not just join the Constitution Party?

The more we are splintered, the less effect we will have.
The other problem is even if a majority of Repubs, non-voting conservatives and independents switch to a truly conservative party, the remaining “moderate” , RINO, and liberal Republicans will steal off enough of the vote to give the Dems a win every time.
Frankly, I see no solution.
But I do love Sarah. She’s the only one telling it like it is. Well, add Alan Hunt, E.W. Jackson, and Dr. Carson.......
Stick a fork in 'em. The best they've got are ones who'll never win a presidential election - ever. Let them rest in peace as the GOP/RINO party.
Not surprising. From the very beginning of this drama, the Repubics have consistently shown a visceral hatred for Sarah, just as they have for all Conservatives. Nothing new. I can’t remember a time when this wasn’t the case, going back to Landan and Hoover. Other than Reagan, the last Conservative in office was Coolidge.
She hasn't established she's going to do this, but the GOP now knows they can't pass this bill without a huge take down of the party. She's waaaay ahead of everyone. Good tactic, the right thing at the right time.
No matter what the PDSers say, I am still behind her 100%
There’s more brilliance in your questions than many around here will dare to confront......
Funny but your post history belies that. So do we believe the suddenly supportive Lakeshark or the one that made such a stink about winning being all important and mocking ‘purists’?
You’re so right. She’s made her intentions clear.
The House is on notice. Tread carefully.
The GOP had better know she has a HUGE following.
Time to let them know WE COUNT by our numbers.
When we call, we have to mention SARAH PALIN.
Anything with the word “Freedom” is going to be a new IRS and NSA target!
