Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the 2008 Republican nominee for vice president responded to a Fox News Channel viewers Twitter question Saturday about the possibility of her and conservative talker Mark Levin abandoning the Republican Party and creating something called the Freedom Party.

If we could have cloned a hundred more of him and filled the Senate with them we would not be in the shape we’re in now.
Had he been elected President, admittedly a very long shot at best, the first act on the first day of his Presidency would have been to issue an Executive Order rescinding all previous Executive Orders. That was a campaign promise, and I seriously doubt that he would have reneged on it.
That’s in the past though, as is Rep. Ron Paul. So, it’ll have to be somebody else if there ever is.
Hope you authoritarians don’t end up branding him or her a “nut.” You’re well on your way with Palin. Then, there’s his son Rand Paul. He’s named after one-a them there loserdopians you know, he’s probably a “nut” too. /s
RP is a nut. His son has some issues as well. But he may yet be saved. If you want to play Malcolm McDowell in Clockwork Orange, be my guest. I sorta like living in a sane world.
100 RP in office is anarchy. And if you see an outpouring of support for Palin as trashing her you are as nuts as your hero.
There it comes. I’ll accept your characterization when you accept that you’re a brain-locked old crank who thought your soulmate John McCain would make a fine President, until the crowd here turned on him, then you just went underground with it. Say hey to Lindsey, lol.
... and don’t discount the indies, like, um, me.
Ah....OK? How about in English next time? I don’t speak drooling Paulbot.
Well to be honest, I thought he would be a better choice than Obama also.
Time changes perspective.
Just saying.
No, you just speak like John McCain’s pet crab. Say hey to Lindsey, lol.
That’s a pretty low bar you’ve set, there. Vladimir Putin shines in comparison to Obama and he’s “former” KGB.
At least McCain had Palin for an upside. But Paul has what? Antisemitism? Most of us now admit it was a mistake to support McCain even with Palin. As you said, time gives perspective. But how anyone can cling to Paul with hindsight is beyond sense.
nope. We sure as hell don’t need his brand of libertarianism. Libertarians have many good ideas i fully am on board with. But not that guy. No way, no how.
Just trying to get you guys off your squabble is all.
:D
I think tens of millions would go all in... People are very angry at both parties.
Let's be honest, it is very hard to get excited about anything to do with the GOP.
With a new party the energy will be unstoppable.
BTTT!
Here’s a virtual tissue...wipe the drool of the keyboard.
I thought I was articulate, but I guess not. My point is
in answering the question by the tweeter, I feel that she
would normally say something along the lines of working to elect conservatives to Republican seats, not speaking for
Mr. Levin, etc. I read the tweet, and watched the video at the link. I sense that she has changed her position, and if she didn’t want to put that out there, she wouldn’t have.
Also, Mark Levin has told us listeners that he is working on something to help us regain our footing, so it is interesting that the tweet was worded in the way it was.
Mark and Sarah together could get me to do almost anything. Maybe we are saying the same thing and I’m just
being thick. I’ve had two large Bloody Marys in my defense.
Not a squabble. Just another psuedocon trying to derail a third party discussion.
So mighteth a few million others! The GOP is broken - maybe beyond repair. A Third Party might get a rough start, but over time, if the foundation is no-kidding in the Constitution, it could grow into something great!
I’m a sucker for the bloody mary defense.....INNOCENT!
I think Ted Cruz and many other Conservatives at all levels within the GOP would not hesitate to move to a "real" second party.
Any true Conservative can see our Republic is about to be destroyed -- they would know a real Statist opposition party is our last chance for peaceful change.
Perhaps being too careful was a contributing reason to his failure as a candidate but the reason I and many like me were unable to support him was because he was a flaming liberal with a career long record of supporting abortion.
