She isn’t. She said she isn’t following the trial.

I feel for this woman. After listening to this interview, I think she honestly made an effort to raise Trayvon well. I think she saw his good side. And I’m prepared to admit that Trayvon Martin probably did have a good side.

If he hadn’t been a young fool, he MIGHT have eventually made it through the stupid stage and turned out to be a decent adult. It has happened with a lot of other young men.

Unfortunately, that’s not what happened in this case.

I think she was a bit out of touch, as well, as to the turn that Trayvon was starting to take. In her eyes, Trayvon was her son, a nice kid, and would not have attacked Zimmerman unless in self-defense.

The thing is, there’s no physical evidence to support her belief that Zimmerman initiated the physical attack. And from all accounts of Zimmerman, such a scenario just doesn’t seem credible.

Nor does it seem credible, given the account of Trayvon Marton on top of Zimmerman, raining down blows on him, MMA-style.

In spite of Ms. Stanley’s belief in her stepson, there are obviously things she didn’t know about Trayvon. Such as never having heard him use language like “cracker.”

She didn’t know he would use such a term. That was outside of her experience with him.

And yet she still believes he wouldn’t initiate the attack on Zimmerman, in spite of the fact that he is known to have done something else in that incident that would’ve surprised her.

“Kids gonna be kids.” Well, there comes a time when kids have to suffer the consequences of their actions. Sometimes those consequences are more serious than they calculated.

And that certainly seems to have been what happened to Trayvon Martin.

I do think Ms. Stanley also got shafted at the funeral.

In every way, Ms. Stanley has my sympathy.

And so does George Zimmerman.

Certainly understand your/her point of view. Since her divorce from his father she would have little if any influence May have been best for TM if he had stayed with her. Biological parents have much lacking

I think her interview was BS. All she had to do is read his facebook page to know what ‘No limit *igga’ was all about.

She knew all about him and she likely talks just like him.
