The underlying problem is that the current electorate has swallowed (hook, line and sinker) the notion that the United States was intended to be an egalitarian democracy.

Those of us who know history well enough to see through this lie are by the current definition, the extreme right wing. This somehow has become synonymous with “wrong.”

The whole of the nation needs a civics lesson. Unfortunately they seem to be opting for “field training” rather than a classroom setting in this matter.
