Egypt: Protesters Close Presidential Palace Gates

Protesters have closed the gates of Egypt’s presidential palace with chains, Egypt Independent reported July 2. The demonstrators are staging a sit-in in the palace’s gardens amid widespread protests calling for the resignation of President Mohammed Morsi.
