Egyptian security and medical officials say an American has been killed in the Mediterranean coastal city of Alexandria during clashes between supporters and opponents of Egypt's embattled President Mohammed Morsi.
Alexandria security chief Gen. Amin Ezz Eddin told Al-Jazeera TV that an American was killed Friday in Sidi Gabr Square while photographing the battles between opposition youth and members of the Muslim Brotherhood, from which Morsi hails.
A medical official told The Associated Press the American was wounded by gunshots and died at the hospital.

Some updates from Monday....

- UN warned Monday that the result of Egypt’s new deadly political turmoil will have a “significant impact” on the transformation of other countries in the Middle East.
- Egypts Foreign Minister Mohammad Kamel Amro resigns bringing number of resigned ministers to 12, ........Egypts Middle East News Agency reports
- The United States is holding talks with ‘all sides’?.... in a bid to quell any violence, a top US official said Monday.
that’s not good news...but then everybody thinks they need to stick there noses in...and this was to be expected... but wait til the really bad guys decide it’s there time!..and it won’t be just bullying.
I don’t know what to expect. Somehow things seem to be going too smoothly, I can’t imagine there won’t be a bloody fight for power.
Earlier tonight, I posted this thread to the Threat Matrix Thread and MestaMachine replied with the following;
obama is silent as a tomb on this. Egypt is showing us how its done. If THEY can do it....

til tomorrow. Night all.
Night Thou...I’ll be going shortly too...
Really?
A few arabs flew a few planes a few years back.
What was that headline maggief posted?---Post 729
Egypts Brotherhood is panicking, Western capitals are confused
Everybody is scrambling. What are we going to do with those 24 million demonstrators--- the largest demonstration in world history....backed up by a supportive military.
It's a problem...
You can be very sure that the Turkish government is wetting its drawers over this. This is not going to end in Egypt. Even little Lebanon wants out from under islamic rule.
I think he was speaking of ‘O’ sticking his nose in other nations personal wars and unrest within their countries...like Libya, Syria, etc...... 9/11 was a direct attack on this nation....apples and oranges.
I don’t know...and I’m still not in bed! LoL
I think most of the world leaders today are confused, those who are not in with the in crowd. (Global Agenda). Events and happenings prove to be confusing then for everyone...including , if not moreso, leaders left out of the loop.
Just like we can’t understand why the Republicans aren’t fighting hard enough, or won’t unite against what the Democrates are doing. It’s not about the issues if those issues will curtail the Globalist’s path...then they will always side together or at least try to talk us into why it is such a good idea. .....Rubio is a perfect example....because he knows all to well the Globalists agenda marked for the US and Mexico and Canada.
The question for our representative’s is always...where do they stand on the global agenda....that will determine how they vote and what they do in Washington..or not.
Krauthammer said....
Here are the Egyptians in the millions out on the street, trying to bring down an Islamic government, increasingly dictatorial, increasingly intolerant, arresting journalists and judges, trying to Islamicize the military and the people are saying no........ And what does the president of the United States do?..... He takes a position of studied neutrality, says he is not supporting either side.”
Least Krauthammer forgets...’O’ said in his book...that he would side with his Muslim Brothers if things got bad.... apparently they are not bad enough for him to decide. Playing neutral is his style.
I got these to the Blaze. Lets see if they get published.
Bumping thread. Obama was for “democracy” in Egypt before he was against it. (Mouthpiece media trying to say he is being “neutral” on this anti-MB protest.)

Prominent Egyptian opposition figure Mohamed ElBaradei has been authorized to speak on behalf of the June 30 Front, a newly formed political body made up of opposition and revolutionary forces led by the Tamarod movement, Ahram reported July 2. ElBaradei, former head of the International Atomic Energy Agency and former candidate for the Egyptian presidency, will also mediate between all political forces and Egypt’s state institutions to develop a plan for political transition.
Thanks so much, crosslink. I remember him, (Mohamed ElBaradei).
