Egyptian security and medical officials say an American has been killed in the Mediterranean coastal city of Alexandria during clashes between supporters and opponents of Egypt's embattled President Mohammed Morsi.
Alexandria security chief Gen. Amin Ezz Eddin told Al-Jazeera TV that an American was killed Friday in Sidi Gabr Square while photographing the battles between opposition youth and members of the Muslim Brotherhood, from which Morsi hails.
A medical official told The Associated Press the American was wounded by gunshots and died at the hospital.

Well, the fact is the news stations there and outside the US are reporting on this heavily and supplying video....so you can find otherwise I would think....
This was a news video tweeted to a US Journalist by a Journalist in Egypt.
Didn’t Obama extend his had in friendship to the Islamophiles in his Great Cairo speech? This speech paved the way for his ally, Mubarak to fall.
How can it be that his Islamic fairness now has backfired in his face? (sarc).
Egypt: Exodus
“I admire the Egyptians who are standing now against Morsi and his Islamic tyranny. I wish them well for the sake of them and their families...and for Israel...and ultimately for our own.”
Well said. This ancient civilization isn’t going to fold and succumb to the Islamist hordes.
Some think that the majority of the 90 million Egyptians are Islamists. That can’t be farther from the truth. The number of hardcore ignorant killers are in the hundreds of thousands. Their uneducated sympathizers number less than two million whose sympathy is “religious” only but they are not for physically harming people (sharia crap of cutting hands, stoning, etc.)
There was an outrage when the Ikhwan (Taliban!) started floating the idea of destroying the “idols,” meaning the ancient monuments, targeting the pyramids, the Sphinx and Karnak Temple. The Ikhwan shocked the Egyptian population, INCLUDING THEIR SYMPATHIZERS, a contributing factor to what you see today.
Apparently, this all started by a very young man who started collecting signatures on petitions titled: REBELLION NOW.

That picture is very interesting.
Yes, American arms, ammunition, and money are being used to prop up Morsi. Obama is toppling secular governments in the Middle East and backing Islamists and outright terrorists. American voters are in a coma like sleep while Obama creates the Greater Caliphate and destroys Western civilization.
But definitely NOT as dangerous as Chicago!!
He’s doing this along with Arab nations in order to position the mid-east as a “group” of nations which will be represented in the NWO once fully establishes.
The Muslim Brotherhood was the only “organized” group , which expands the area...they believe they can control and manipulate them to comply with the NWO..at least for the time being and why so much money is being sent to their nations. To prepare them for integration into the Global Agenda.
For awhile the Islamic Brotherhood will be relatively co-operative....Egypt pulled out of Syria because Morsi stands to gain BIllions promised by various nations and the IMF....he wants that money to continue the Brotherhood Agenda....in time that will happen throughout the M.E. It will be controlled for a time, and have a place at the Global Table.
But in the end we know they will not be controlled for the Agenda they have will errupt into major war throughout the whole area once they believe they have the power and might to pull it off.
“Why would any American be in Egypt unless they had to? Was this American an infidel or a muslim?
Egypt is almost as dangerous as Mexico.”
We are friends of a couple in our church, and they like to travel to areas mentioned in the Bible.
A couple of years ago, they made another trip to Egypt. The husband was an ASA officer and sees things different than most tourists.
After their visit, he predicted wide scale riots due to the large number of College graduates with no jobs. They sat around in the coffee shops and condemned the current Egyptian leadership.
These unemployed were more than willing to discuss how bad Egypt was for them and how the leadership at that time had to be ousted.
A few months later, the riots started in Cairo.
Life Egypt, now, is probably even more miserable for these young men and women.
those pyramids and other great historical statues and sites will be razed by the Muzzies.
Bad moon rising...INDEED!
I am betting on a “peaceful transition” from the Muslim Brotherhood to a Khomeni character...Heck why doesn’t Iran just take all the mideast..uh, they have( so to speak).
“Protests are rocking Turkey, Egypt is about to explode, and a civil war is raging in Syria so where is our Secretary of State?”
VietNam Kerry is busy nuancing the Israelis and telling they have nothing to fear from the Religion of Peace people.
Not very many according to this article from yesterday's Pittsburgh Tribune Review.
Frome the article;
In the past, Hassan says, 20,000 tourists visited Luxor daily. Now we are lucky to get 400, 500. Only five of the normal 320 tourist cruise ships sail the Nile, according to guides.
