Governor Palin Just Put the GOP on Notice – Updated
Conservatives4Palin ^ | June 28 2013 | Sarah Palin via Stacy Drake

Posted on 06/28/2013 11:45:35 AM PDT by Bratch

Wow! Governor Palin just posted the following on Facebook, along with a link to the article over at Breitbart that we posted last night:

Please take a look at the article linked below to understand how the amnesty bill the Senate passed yesterday is a sad betrayal of working class Americans of every ethnicity who will see their wages lowered and their upward mobility lowered too. And yet we still do not have a secured border. This Senate-approved amnesty bill rewards lawbreakers and won’t solve any problems – as the CBO report notes that millions of more illegal immigrants will continue to flood the U.S. in coming years.

Great job, GOP establishment. You’ve just abandoned the Reagan Democrats with this amnesty bill, and we needed them to “enlarge that tent” of which you so often speak. It’s depressing to consider that the House of Representatives is threatening to pass some version of this nonsensical bill in the coming weeks.

Once again, I’ll point out the obvious to you: it was the loss of working class voters in swing states that cost us the 2012 election, not the Hispanic vote. Legal immigrants respect the rule of law and can see how self-centered a politician must be to fill this amnesty bill with favors, earmarks, and crony capitalists’ pork, and call it good. You disrespect Hispanics with your assumption that they desire ignoring the rule of law.

Folks like me are barely hanging on to our enlistment papers in any political party – and it’s precisely because flip-flopping political actions like amnesty force us to ask how much more bull from both the elephants in the Republican Party and the jackasses in the Democrat Party we have to swallow before these political machines totally abandon the average commonsense hardworking American. Now we turn to watch the House. If they bless this new “bi-partisan” hyper-partisan devastating plan for amnesty, we’ll know that both private political parties have finally turned their backs on us. It will then be time to show our parties’ hierarchies what we think of being members of either one of these out-of-touch, arrogant, and dysfunctional political machines.

Good for Sarah.

I think the CINO Repubs who voted for shamnesty thought there was safety in numbers (68 votes for) and that the conservative base would forget it after time, particulary with ObummerDeathCare soon to kick in.

Not a chance. We’re coming after you, Grahamnesty and Alexander, and then the rest of you political cross-dressers in 2016 and 2018.

This is why they hate her. Plain speech is the enemy of lies.

You gotta love her.

Oh yeah. And by the way. She just threatened the RINOs with the establishment of a third party, if they pass this POS bill.

That should get their attention.

And I'm in.

I agree. I don't think amnesty is going to happen. Not in it's current form for sure.

It's gonna be very interesting to see this lil hot potato tossed about in the next few months.

>>If it is Rand Paul then they lost me<<

Curious, why would Rand Paul not have your support?

Hypothetically speaking, if we were to find the GOP primary had Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, Rand Paul and Rick Perry running...who'd be your choice?

That’s right. Anymore GOP lies and a tersely worded Facebook post will be forthcoming. That will put them on notice!

There you go, BradinSC! You tell all those dumb FReepers how it really is! By the way, BradinSC, we're neighbors, sorta. I don't know whether to welcome you as a new poster to Free Republic or to congratulate you on obtaining another username.

From everything I have been reading, McCain, Graham, Ayotte, Flake, Hatch, and the other 9 scoundrels have made a calculation here that anything that will destroy the Tea Party they will support.

I believe that there are staffers in the offices of many of the Republican Senators and Congressmen who are whole-hearted progressives. One of them is Matt Rimkunas who now works for Graham and has just met with Pelosi to try and get amnesty passed in the house. Some of these staffers have actually worked in Democrat offices. These staffers have sold these Republican politicians on the lie that the Tea Party will destroy there party, therefore they must destroy the Tea Party. They truly believe that they can save the party if only they can rid themselves or sideline that portion of the base.

They like the status quo and "We The People" are threating that. I think we are seeing the beginnings of one party rule in this country.

May God have mercy on us.

A lot of us have already turned our backs on the GOP for compromising far too much. You don't see the Democrats compromising time and again, they stick to their guns and scream their heads off. Meanwhile, far too many in the GOP leadership are willing to bend over and spread when the Dems demand it.

I want a party that will fight for Conservative principles. I'm tired of this BS from far too many Republicans who get in office and then immediately start reaching across the aisle. The aisle exists for a reason.

If they want to keep reaching across the aisle, I suggest they change the letter next to their name from an (R) to a (D). Either way, until the GOP decides it wants to be a party of Conservatives, it will not get my money or my votes.

And anybody who wants to tell me that I'm helping the Democrats by taking a stand, just go and piss off, because the Republicans in Congress are already helping the Democrats by selling us all down the river in the name of "compromise" and the mythical future Hispanic illegal alien-turned-citizen GOP voter.

If you think angry Facebook posts are the only result of the GOP moving to the left, you are sadly, and hugely, mistaken. Plenty of Republicans are done with the GOP.

If we all wanted to compromise our principles and support a party of liberals, we'd have joined the Dems a long time ago. The GOP is about to learn it will not win without us, period.

Sure, the RINOs will claim that we are helping the Dems, that we are weakening the GOP, etc., and they'll tell us that we either support the RINOs they run for office, or we are supporting the dems. They'll even claim we just need to get through the next election.

But a lot of us know that if you support a liberal with an (R) next to their name, you are still supporting a liberal.

And a helluva lot of us know that with the RINOs, it's always about "we just have to get through this next election", except we've been doing this "just wait until the next election" bullcrap for years.

We have reached the point where we cannot afford to wait for the next election, or some future election. We either start primarying these liberal losers in the GOP now, we we are finished as a nation.

this may be our last stand before we're forced to resort to the (unmentionable) Plan B.

It should be mentioned more often, in the original text and context:

"But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

We need to stop telling ourselves things like this. We need to start facing the fact that it is "our" pols, themselves, who are the liars and the conmen. They are the problem, not liberal staffers, not "secret files", not blackmail. It is those people we have voted for and donated to who are showing us who they really are, and how little value they place on our way of life.

That was a serious bitch-slap. I left the Republican Party in 1990. I knew back then it was no longer the party of Reagan. I cannot believe that Sarah Palin honestly believes the Republican Party can be "saved" from itself. It's completely out of touch.

Sure, there were those years between 1994 and 1999 when the Republican Party actually mattered. You know, they got things done like welfare reform, downsized government (although Clinton gets credit for that) and through economic growth, managed to balance the budget - actually achieving a surplus.

Then big-spender George W. Bush came along with free drugs for seniors which was the biggest expansion of the social welfare state since LBJ. (Bush has now been far surpassed by Obama.)

I think it's fair to say that the Republican Party is dead. Put a fork in it. Anyone who doesn't know that John Boehner is going to pass some form of Criminal, Illegal Alien Amnesty is kidding themselves.

As for Sarah Palin, I really wish she'd either shit or get off the pot at this point. Either step up, run for office & win, and by God start leading the charge to rescue this country from the brink of disaster it's perched on, or shut the hell up, go home and let it go.

I like Sarah Palin. The only reason I voted for McCain in 2008 was because of her. That's the God's honest truth. But for crying out loud, at some point she's gotta get off the sidelines, stop the rhetoric and lead the charge to save this country.

I think she can do it. Will she?

Michelle Bachman explained it. ANY House bill no matter if it promises all the border security in the world will be a trojan horse.NO bill at all must come out of the House because it will be merged with the Senate Amnesty and trojan horse bill. Call congress.

Tell them to stop all Amnesty or immigration bills.they are all trojan horse bills. some will promise border security that will never be enforced anyway.

Bachmann explained it . The House will write a border security bill only . then in conference the senate will add the virus and then bring it back to the house. then the conservatives won’t vote for it but democrats will all vote for it so then they only need 10% of republicans to pass Amnesty and the virus that will destroy America. so any bill at all will be added the virus . so best thing is for Boner to not let any immigration bill at all come out of the House. that is the only hope . call boner and the members of the House.
