The guy’s job is not to “railroad innocent folks” but rather to get the bad guys off the streets. Zimmerman already took the bad guy off the street. The prosecution was forced by public pressure, not facts, to bring this case to trial.

It is wrong to criticize him for trying to let the truth come out in this trial, as we’ve seen continually during the prosecution.

Well, his job description might not include the words “railroad innocent folks” but that’s what he has been doing for more than a year (and being highly paid to do that). His motivation (however “noble” in YOUR mind) and fear of “the mob” do not justify persecuting innocent citizens.

Very good point... Looking at it this way does make sense... He may be trying to protect his own job :p
Maybe he didn't want this to go to court, but was forced by the state.. Not many options, in that case ...
