Having very intimate knowledge of a girl JUST like DeeDee/RJ, I understand completely what you are stating here hoosiermama. It was the reason I flipped after seeing her the first day she was up there, and recognized immediately that the filthy crump et al should be held on charges for their abuse of her!
UC, yes, she is in the web of deceit that effects GZ and I have tremendous empathy for him, however, it in no way discounts HOW she came to be in the position that crump put her in.
IF I had witnessed anyone doing anything like this to the ‘girl’ I know, I would be in GZ’s place, I am that rabid about protecting the abused from being further abused. And yes, this is a clear cut case of abuse of her from beginning to end. It makes me sick.
At this point my prayer is that somehow O’Mara knows how to flush out the truth regarding the manner in which DeeDee was used by crump and that freakin pos sybrina.
The whole thing is a great example of the multiple failing of the ‘system’ and how the so called professionals screw these kids up even more. I could go on and on, but it would all be in vain, so I won’t.
Here’s the problem:
We have a culture where the highest form of truth comes from the courtroom in the form of sworn testimony.
You and me and everybody else can think that she is abused and misused and no doubt there is some of that.
But according to her testimony in court she is not and has not been. She does and says what she wants whenever she wants and no one gonna tell her otherwise or think otherwise.
Unless she spits it out in open court on the witness stand the only thing to derive from this highest form of truth is that those are her words and no one else’s. And it has to be dealt with that way.
