Ghandism worked for Ghandi but it took violence in the streets of America to ring in Civil Rights. I know this is all GOD’s plan but if our Founders only presented peaceful protests and acceptance of any level of violence against them by King George... we would still be under the British Flag today. Despite what I said in my post about nonviolence, I agree that it may come to civil war. We are indeed two countries philosophically and it may take another civil war to settle it.

That’s the real story of that situation. The non-violent protests were happening big time in Birmingham during the spring of 1963.

But by this time 50 years ago violence was beginning in the cities of the North that would lead to larger riots, greater damage, population shifts to suburbs and political changes.

The financial disasters of the cities are the fruit of that.

BUT PLANS NEED TO BE MADE INCLUDING PLANS FOR BAD SITUATIONS.
