You must have mistakenly addressed your comment to me instead of someone else. My post contained no "excuses" for anyone or anything. What it did contain was information conclusively demonstrating that the victim of the attack was black.

Yes, it matters, because the fact that she was black negates many of the comments that have been posted by others in this thread. And please don't ask which comments; I have no patience for game playing or feigned naivete.
