Once again, it was simply not a very good day at all for the prosecution. The primary State witnesses today were Rachel Jeantel, Jenna Lauer, and Selma Mora. The first had her credibility substantively destroyed, the second was powerfully–almost humiliatingly–co-opted by the defense, and the third provided testimony entirely consistent with the defense’s theory of lawful self-defense. There was also some (I expect temporary) hubbub that O’Mara may have inadvertently opened the door to allow the State to introduce evidence of specific prior bad acts by George Zimmerman, and I address that in detail, as well, below.

In listening to the exhange yesterday in which the defense witness Jeneal had to repeat the phrase “ creepy ass cracker “ multiple times did anyone else note that her vocal inflection is creepy Ass-cracker, not creepy-ass Cracker. Cracker is a racial term, like honky. Ass-cracker is a sexual slur. She also expressed a vague concern about TM not getting raped as her reason he should leave. Which would actually make sense if she understood TM to be characterizing GZ as gay.
That was peculiar, but then again, we’re only hearing from microphones. He certainly wasn’t shouting or even particularly aggressive in tone to my ears.
Yipes- hardly ever post and then make a dumb mistake: I know her name is Jeantel and that she is the State’s witness (prosecution not defense).
I’m not sure why you care or post what CNN and CNN HLN says about this trial?
What exactly did this simp do on the stand to prove Zimmerman initiated an attack on Martin? She proved Martin sounds like a racist hostile punk.
Would those ditch pig liberals at CNN really think this lying hood rat said anything to show second degree murder?
Has anybody been put on the stand that actually SAW the attack, or can say the physical evidence shows Martin was the one jumped?

Zimmerman probably didnt have his gun out until he got it out as he was being beaten. Even this moronic witness never said Martin mentioned seeing a gun, yet Martin could see Z was on his cell.

This judge would rather kill her first born than dismiss the case against Zimmerman.
My guess? Martin probably said this “He probably a fag and wantsa rape me” and started laughing. I bet you anything that line about Zimmerman possibly being a “rapiss” was either made up by this simpleton or if Martin did say it he was laughing and making a joke. Noway was he seriously afraid some guy was coming to rape him. GMAB! Not buying it.
White liberals treat black people like pets and are always patronizing. Here’s another thing, women are harder on other women. I doubt all of the females on this jury found “Dee Dee” to be charming or credible.

Jeantel testified that Martin's phone "went dead". If Martin actually turned it off, it would mean that Jeantel likely never heard the actual confrontation, since he would have turned it off before any altercation happened. This is particularly likely if he initiated the contact, as all parties seem to concur. If it was damaged during the confrontation, the damage would still be obvious. If it weren't turned off or damaged, it would have been on throughout the entire confrontation, and Jeantel whould have heard the gunshot. She has not testified that she heard it.
Thus, the accuracy of Jeantel's testimony can be verified by examining the phone.
I was on a jury once where the perp was on trial for assault. The perp admitted to the act. The perp's girl friend, her son, the police officer, and the victim also said he did it. No one testified differently.
During the initial part of the jury deliberation, one of the jury members said "I don't think he did it". Fortunately, the rest of us were able to convince him otherwise, and the perp was convicted. Yet it goes to show what some see, and don't see during a trial.

I’ve been very curious if they do have a record of the telephone number of who he was supposed to have been talking to and who it really was. This woman is not what I remember as being described as Trayvon’s girlfriend when this first started.
Especially if he was paid with drugs and/or stolen jewelry.
