We are already enemies of “nature” and the passion of their hatred is completely unhinged.
Now we become enemies of “the human race ?”
Insane.
The party of death is going to call/label conservatives, the enemy of the human race.
They would have to redefine the human race.
What it means to be Human.
Don’t get me wrong, I think they are on their way to doing just that.

That would be perfectly appropriate for a gentleman such as Mr. Robinson, as well as a lady such as Sarah. :)

He who fights too long against dragons becomes a dragon himself; and if you gaze too long into the abyss, the abyss will gaze into you.

A judge who accuses his fellow judges in such a way is no longer fit to be a judge and should be removed from authority over the laws that govern us. To accuse in such a way from such a high position is to at once declare his opinion is superior to the laws. Such an judge should be removed from adjudication over the laws he so clearly abrogates in favor of his opinion.

And all around him were folks with all manner of hardware
who believe as he does and stand ready to back him up.
Front line when TSHTF baby.

Scalia is correct about this. It is astounding the carnage people are capable of once they’ve established their opponents are not human. They choose to be...for want of a better word, “inhumane.”

They will regret declaring their opponents to be enemies. One can disagree with opponents, and still respect each other and our right to disagree; one can only fight enemies, until one or the other prevails.

A judge who accuses his fellow judges in such a way is no longer fit to be a judge and should be removed from authority over the laws that govern us. Which justice, exactly, said that? I can't tell. There's a quote here from Scalia decrying the term, but who used it in the first place?

Disturbing, but given the recent additions to the court, not totally unexpected. I'm a bit surprised that they've leaped so soon to replacing rational legal argument with ad hominem attacks and pure invective, but I knew Kagan and the Wide Latina would steer the court in an ugly direction, given half a chance.
They are not jurists - at least not of the type we as Americans expect. They are apparatchiks, in the original Soviet meaning of the word.

Heck no, that’s either a range marshall or a homeless guy.
To: Lazamataz; Cyber Liberty
This is a disturbing one, but I will join Cyber Liberty
(Post 34) and ask which justice first used the term,
"enemies of the human race" to describe the minority justices?
To: Lazamataz
I wonder if Scalia chose these words--hostes humani generis--intentionally. Early Christians were labeled "enemies of the human race" by the Roman empire, and persecuted them as such. Perhaps this signals that Washington is now officially seeking to persecute Christians as Rome did to the early church.

And luv’n every minute of it too. Just give me my sniper rifle WTSHTF and a post to rest it on and we’ll see what fur.
And I think we’re about thirty miles out from the Troopathon now, but the traffic is killing our time. The GPS has been routing us all around creation trying to avoid the most congested spots, but we’re inching up on it. Hope to be there within the hour. Damn shame about that blowout that left us stranded in Bakersfield last night. Who the hell came up with the idea of a donut as a spare anyway? Sounds like a government plot.
