House Speaker John Boehner said Thursday that any immigration legislation including a House-Senate compromise must have majority House Republican support in order to pass.

BTTT
Great point.
The GOP isn’t working for us right now. We need to make our voice heard so they will be FORCED to listen.
I would not trust him on this. He knows that he needs to say this in order to even have a bill that passes with GOP majority and goes to Congress. If he didn’t say this now, the GOP House members would refuse to support a vote on any immigration bill. Boehner can easily “backtrack” again. He is not to be trusted. Verify his actions before trusting his words. So far he has been meeting with illegal immigration advocates. They have reluctantly scheduled a GOP House special conference not until July 10.
I don’t trust him as far as I could throw him.
But I’m hoping if we keep the pressure up it’ll get to him.
We have to make our voices heard loud and clear.
NO AMNESTY.
He’s looking at every which way he can to allow it to come to a vote.
He’s using it as a bargaining chip to get the highest bid for his post-speakership retirement.
The conservative majority of the GOP House should convene right now to elect a new Speaker. They can elect Michele Bachmann or they can go outside to Sarah Palin.
Can they convene any time to do that?
NO IMMIGRATION ANYTHING, IDIOT!
Exactly!
Light a fire under his butt.
Yes. If they decide to do it they need to first see if they have the votes. Because failure can explode back on them.
I wish Rush would use his bullhorn to rally people to do just this, to call their congress member and tell them to convene a vote for a new speaker. The country is in too critical a position not to act now.
And dont forget to call your Senators too!
Mine is a VERY vulnerable Dem! Would appreciate anyone and everyone who can, calling his office. You need an Arkansas zip code.

I do too!
Isn’t it crazy how Rubio is ignoring his constituents though?
He acknowledged he’s angered them. But the GOP-e and the Progressives must be more important to him.
He gets voted out of office, he’s done.
BUMP
Thanks for the bump!
Yeh Tammy Faye doesn’t want to lose his speakership. Otherwise he would cheerfully throw us all overboard.
We need a list of EVERY R Rep up for election next year, to determine vulnerability.
Glad you posted this. The pressure must be relentless, for us to stop these people from destroying our country.
Gave them hell........
Sick of these guys!!!
” We need a list of EVERY R Rep up for election next year, to determine vulnerability.”
